FEP 1.3:1 Heat Shrink Tubing
Zeus FEP heat shrink tubing provides a tight, anti-corrosive covering for critical components subjected to acute environmental conditions. The application of heat shrink tubing prolongs the life of the items it covers and supports efficient performance. FEP is resistant to most chemicals except molten alkali metals, fluorine (gas) and some other halogen complexes. It also has excellent dielectric strength. FEP heat shrink is sometimes a preferred choice over PTFE, particularly in medical device applications, because of its lower shrink temperature (400 degrees) and its ability to be autoclaved and gamma sterilized.

Heat shrink tubing comes in its expanded state, but a brief application of heat enables the tubing to mold itself around a component to create a snug, seamless covering. Standard 4-foot lengths are available; however, our proprietary processes and equipment give us the expertise to produce customer-specific lengths precisely fitting the items needing coverage and making them as effective as possible in their application. Component Supply provides straight cuts, which maintain the integrity of the tubing dimensions and hold tight tolerances. Minimum quantities may apply depending on current stock.
