Zeus PTFE/FEP Dual Shrink Tubing
Zeus Dual-Shrink® tubing, constructed with an exterior of heat shrink PTFE and an inner layer of FEP, provides a tight, moisture-proof bond over wires, cables, connectors, splices, terminals and other components. The PTFE outer layer shrinks tightly over mandrels when heated while the FEP melts and flows into a solid or near-solid encapsulation with a tight fit that enables it to withstand severe stress from pull or vibration. This tubing possesses all the electrical, chemical and mechanical properties of other PTFE products including lubricity, biocompatibility, tight tolerances and resistance to a wide range of temperatures and chemicals. The PTFE heat shrink recovery temperature is between 654°F (346°C) and 670°F (354°C).

Zeus Dual-Shrink® tubing serves critical functions in several industries including the aerospace, automotive, electrical, fluid transfer, fiber optics and medical fields. Our cuts are straight, maintain the integrity of the tubing dimensions and hold tight tolerances. Minimum quantities may apply depending on current stock.
