As a resource for R&D, Component Supply provides ultra thin wall hypotubes as a readily available and affordable option for prototyping in a variety of applications including oil and gas, chemical processing, chromatography, electronics, aerospace, and medical devices. Ultra thin wall hypodermic tubing is often frequently sourced for medical device design and development.

Secondary operations for hypodermic tubing are available from our custom fabrication division, CS Custom Fab. Capabilities include:

• Cutting: precision, burr-free (standard +/- 0.005″ tolerance)
• Bending: to customer-specified bend radius
• Beveling: to customer-specified angle
• Welding: laser welding for assemblies
• Notching: according to customer drawing
• Flattening: according to customer drawing
• OD Grinding: for tighter tolernace
• Custom Needles: cannula from SS hypotubes and either stainless steel or polypropylene hubs

Low minimums and fast lead times define our commitment to R&D, but we maintain the volumes and documentation to support projects moving into production. Standard shop minimums generally begin at $250 for standard cuts of hypodermic tubing, but we can provide a quote specific to your project’s use of hypotubes.
