Our Mission

Who We Are

The mission of Component Supply is to be a resource for researchers and product designers by connecting them with the components and knowledge they need to change the world. In other words: Supplying The Best To The Brightest So They Can Change The World.

What We Do

We stock, distribute, fabricate, and manufacture components for research and development teams—primarily in the medical device space. We know how fast things move in R&D, so we make it easy to get what you need with low minimums and quick lead times. Our online store gives you simple access to in-stock parts, and our in-house fabrication helps you test, tweak, and iterate without long delays. Whether you’re building a first prototype or getting ready to scale, we’re here to make the component side of your project easier.

Our Heart

“Supplying the best to the brightest” is more than just a slogan to us. It’s our life’s work. We admit that we aren’t going to be the ones who actually cure cancer, slow dementia, or create life-changing prosthetics. But, we will put quality components in the hands of people who can. That’s you! We will keep growing our team, adding equipment, deepening our inventory, and building offices. We will keep traveling to tradeshows, meeting with customers, and building relationships with industry leaders. No matter what happens, we know our niche. As our co-owner, Phil Maffett says, “At the end of our life, when the tools go back in the box, we want to know our priorities were in the right place.”

And that place is with you, researchers and product designers.

Now, go change the world.
