When standard tubing and wire dimensions are not suitable for an application, Component Supply provides precision outside diameter (OD) grinding services for stainless steel, Nitinol, and other specialty materials used in medical devices, research, and industrial applications.
Our grinding capabilities allow engineers to reduce diameters, create smooth transitions, improve flexibility profiles, and achieve tight dimensional tolerances across the length of the component. Ground components can then be further customized through cutting, end forming, tip grinding, bending, drilling, welding, and other secondary fabrication processes.
