Unlike standard PTFE coatings, GlideMed™ is ideal for delicate minimally invasive devices, implantable instrument components, microcatheters, and precision diagnostic tools where low friction and uniform coating thickness are critical.
GlideMed™ coating is free from PFOS, PFOA, solvents, and hex chrome compounds, making it a strong choice for applications subject to increasing compliance standards such as FDA and EU MDR. The coating provides excellent adhesion, uniform thickness, enhanced durability, and a low coefficient of friction to improve device performance and consistency.
All wires and mandrels ship in straight lengths without end forms, with standard lengths of 36″ or 72″, and custom lengths or fabrication available via our Quote Form.
