PTFE Coated Stainless Steel Wire & Mandrels for Medical Devices
Component Supply offers PTFE-coated 304 stainless steel spring wire and mandrels designed for medical device manufacturing, catheter development, and precision guidewire applications. It combines the strength and corrosion resistance of stainless steel with the added benefits of dielectric protection and enhanced lubricity for smoother device performance.
All PTFE coated stainless steel wires can withstand temperatures up to 195°C (390°F) and are compatible with EtO sterilization. Higher-temperature formulations (up to 500°F) may be available upon request. The coating color is green, with additional options such as gray, blue, black, white, and clear available through special order.
All wires and mandrels ship in straight lengths without end forms, with standard lengths of 36″ or 72″, and custom lengths or fabrication available via our Quote Form.
